CHILDHOOD SWEETHEARTS
It was 1983. He was 18 & she was 14. Love was so pure & innocent then. Then he had to leave and never came back for more than 20 years. He is still single but alas! she is now married with 2 children. They knew at an instant the love they had for each other never died. Theirs was a bond like titanium steel. Just left dormant for decades. It was like 2 crossed stars. Something that rarely happens. He said he would wait for her… she agreed. For her love for him really never died. She was waiting for him all those years. She thought she would be able to get on with life by settling down and having a family. How wrong she was!! He kept his feelings well hidden all the years he was away. It seemed they had never been apart. They finished each other’s sentences…. They know about each other as though they had been together all those lost years. Both had grown up a lot in this harsh world. They went through lots of hard times while they were apart and they knew it was a chance they shouldn’t let go of.
